About

The Blog

An Apologue is a moral fable, especially one having pointed or exaggerated details.  This word expresses how I see the idea of gods, the bible and religion.  Yet an apologue has its merits, when used as a tool to convince, persuade, or for rhetorical argument.

I accept that there is no divine influence.  No gods. We don’t need them.

People drive society.  I am both an atheist and a humanist.  I define an atheist as:

A person, who affirms that humans are, self-determined biological beings that exist without a creator, divine intervention or gods.

On this site, I use the terms god or gods, not God.

The Apologues

On Sundays, I will post my own apologues.  I hope that they will inspire you to create your own gods, religions, or churches.

As you read my stories feel free to worship my gods.  They will enlighten you, perhaps save your souls.  May my gods, the real ones, not those fake ones, bless you.

What I Believe

On Religion:

  1. Religion all by itself is not bad; it’s the people too.
  2. Religion stamps out individualism, and demolishes logic.
  3. Religion is the most effective form of social control.
  4. Religion was the first form of nationalism and government.

On gods:

  1. The idea of god, has not hurt anyone, it’s mostly religion.
  2. All gods have the same origin, the minds of men.
  3. A good god is an abolished god.
  4. Some gods are more fun than others.
  5. Ideas on god reflect cultural beliefs.
  6. There are many ways to express god, the more non-personal the better.
  7. Anyone can create a god, a religion or a belief system.
  8. I create gods, and hope that you will worship them.

On Humans:

  1. We as humans have all the power, we don’t need gods.
  2. Each individual has the capacity for self-determination.
  3. Every person has the ability and right to test his or her beliefs.
  4. We are not born with a belief system, like other prejudices, we learn them.
